Beverly Y. Langford as President of LMA Communication works with organizations and individuals on strategic communication, message development, effective interpersonal communication skills, team building, and leadership development.
In addition, Dr. Langford teaches management communication to graduate students at Georgia State University's Robinson College of Business, teaching in the MBA, Professional MBA, and Global Partners MBA programs. She directs the Business Communication Program within the Department of Marketing. She has also participated in Georgia State's joint MBA program with the University of Cairo and the International Fellows Program sponsored by the Department of Risk Management.
Also at Georgia State University, she is the Co-Director of the Robinson College of Business' Women's Mentor Program and the Women's Leadership Forum held annually in partnership with the Atlanta Business Chronicle. In addition, she is active in the Women's Leadership Academy, a University-sponsored leadership development program for members of Georgia State University staff members and leads two of the eight sessions each year.

Active in community affairs, she is past Chairman of the board of directors of the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce (2001) and has served on the advisory boards of Senior Services North Fulton and Habitat for Humanity-North Fulton. She currently serves on the board of Heritage Sandy Springs.
Since 1995, Dr. Langford has been the Leadership Dimensions Facilitator for Leadership North Fulton and recently became a regular speaker with Leadership Forsyth (both in North Metro Atlanta).
Over the past several years, Dr. Langford has been named by The Atlanta Business Chronicle to the list of Who's Who in North Fulton County and Who's Who in the 400 Corridor. She has been quoted in various publications, including The New York Times, The International Herald Tribune, The Cleveland Plain Dealer, Glamour, Men's Health, Engineering Times, The Guardian, and The Atlanta Business Chronicle and has appeared on a number of radio talk shows to discuss areas pertaining to business behavior and interpersonal skills. She is a frequent speaker to both corporate and civic groups.
She received a BA degree from the University of Mississippi, an MA from Memphis State University (now the University of Memphis), and a Ph.D. from Georgia State University. She is a member of the Association for Business Communicators and the Association of Professional Communication Consultants. She is a Certified Course Designer/Developer, and she is currently in the certification process as a Certified Instructor/Facilitator.
